Marketplace Guidelines

Eligibility & Registration

To sell on Aiydyn Markets, all vendors must complete an application and be approved before listing any products. During registration, vendors must provide:

Full legal name or business name and contact information
Proof of business registration (if applicable)
A brief description of their product-making process and ingredient sourcing
Agreement to all Aiydyn Markets terms, policies, and these guidelines

Product Eligibility

Only products that meet all of the following criteria are permitted on the platform:

Handcrafted or small-batch made — Products must be made by the vendor themselves or their small team; mass-manufactured or factory-produced goods are not allowed
All-natural and/or organic ingredients only — Every product must be formulated exclusively with natural and/or certified organic ingredients; no synthetic chemicals, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, artificial fragrances, or preservatives are permitted
Hair and skin care category — Eligible products include but are not limited to: shampoos, conditioners, hair oils, scalp treatments, facial cleansers, moisturizers, body butters, serums, soaps, scrubs, and masks
Not expired or near-expiry — Products must have a clearly disclosed shelf life and must be fresh at the time of sale

Ingredient Standards

All-natural and organic integrity is the cornerstone of Aiydyn Markets. Vendors must adhere to the following:

No prohibited ingredients — Products must not contain synthetic dyes, artificial fragrances, parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates (SLS/SLES), or other petrochemical derivatives
Organic claims must be validated — If a product or its ingredients are labeled as “organic,” the claim must be backed by a recognized certification such as USDA Certified Organic, COSMOS Organic, EU Organic, or NSF/ANSI 305
Minimum organic content threshold — Products marketed as “organic” must contain at least 70% certified organic ingredients by weight (excluding water and salt), in alignment with NSF/ANSI 305 and USDA NOP standards
Full ingredient transparency — A complete INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) ingredient list must be included on every product listing and physical label
Ingredient sourcing documentation — Vendors may be asked to provide certificates of analysis (COAs) or supplier documentation to verify ingredient origin and purity

Labeling Requirements

Every product sold on Aiydyn Markets must include the following on its label:

Product name and description
Full ingredient list (INCI format, listed in descending order of concentration)
Net weight or volume
Vendor/manufacturer name and contact information
Country of origin
Shelf life or “best by” date
Any required safety warnings (e.g., “keep out of reach of children,” allergen notices)
Applicable organic or natural certification marks (if claimed)

No Medical or Drug Claims

Vendors are strictly prohibited from making medical, therapeutic, or drug claims about their products. This is in alignment with FDA cosmetic regulations.

Examples of prohibited claims:

“Cures eczema” or “treats psoriasis”
“Clinically proven to regrow hair”
“Heals wounds” or “eliminates acne permanently”

Acceptable alternatives:

“May help soothe dry skin”
“Formulated to support a healthy scalp”
“Helps moisturize and soften hair”

Vendors making drug claims risk immediate product removal and account suspension.

Product Safety & Testing

Vendors are solely responsible for the safety of their products. Aiydyn Markets strongly recommends:

Safety testing — Conducting or commissioning third-party preservative efficacy testing (PET), stability testing, and patch testing before listing
Batch records — Maintaining records of each production batch, including ingredient lot numbers and batch codes
Sterile production environment — Manufacturing products in a clean, sanitary workspace using sterilized equipment
Allergen disclosures — Clearly disclosing any common allergens (e.g., tree nuts, essential oils containing methyl salicylate) and complying with child-resistant packaging rules where required

Listings & Product Descriptions

Each product listing must include:

Clear, high-quality photos showing the product and its label
An accurate and complete product description (ingredients, scent, texture, intended use)
Skin/hair type compatibility (e.g., “suitable for dry, curly hair”)
Quantity and size options
Accurate pricing and shipping information
A complete shop policy covering returns, exchanges, and processing times

Vendors must not use misleading before-and-after images, stock photos of other brands’ products, or exaggerated claims in listings.

Intellectual Property & Branding

Vendors must use original branding, photos, and copy that they own or have rights to use
Vendors may not infringe on trademarks, patents, or copyrights of other brands
Copying another vendor’s storefront design, product descriptions, or photos is strictly prohibited

Pricing & Fees

Vendors set their own product prices
Aiydyn Markets charges a platform commission of 3% on each sale
Vendors are responsible for accurately calculating and collecting applicable sales tax

Shop Policies

Every vendor must publish a shop policy that covers:

Processing and handling times
Shipping carriers and estimated delivery windows
Return, refund, and exchange policies
Custom order policies (if applicable)
How to contact the vendor for support

Code of Conduct

Vendors agree to:

Treat all customers and fellow vendors with professionalism and respect
Respond to customer inquiries within 48 hours
Fulfill orders within the stated processing time or notify buyers promptly of any delays
Never engage in price manipulation, fake reviews, or deceptive business practices
Immediately remove or update any listing that is found to be non-compliant with these guidelines

Enforcement & Violations

Aiydyn Markets reserves the right to:

Remove non-compliant listings without notice
Issue warnings or temporary suspensions for first-time violations
Permanently ban vendors for repeated or severe violations (e.g., fraudulent ingredient claims, drug claims, counterfeit goods)
Require documentation audits at any time to verify ingredient claims

Vendors have the right to appeal any enforcement action by contacting the Aiydyn Markets Vendor Support team within 14 days of the decision.

These guidelines are designed to protect customers, uphold the integrity of the natural and organic beauty space, and create a trustworthy community for vendors and buyers alike. By registering as a vendor, you agree to comply with these guidelines in full and any updates made to them going forward.
